A bee house design specifically designed for leafcutter bees by Kind Bee Farms. The overhanging roof provides protection from light rain and wind. Leafcutter bees are protected as they go into their nesting tubes. Nesting tubes are made with smooth paper-like straws, this saves the bees wings from the barbs that are often present in the bamboo tubes in the cheaper versions of bee houses. The holes are 5mm in diameter, preventing unnecessary trips to cut leaves to get their holes lined to perfection for their eggs to be laid.
